As part of CES's on-going commitment to our customers, we are delighted to announce that members of our point of sale team have now achieved Automotive Technician Accreditation (ATA) approval for Parts Advisors. Under the guidance of the IMI, the one day assessments were held at Delphi's head office. They included an on-line assessment as well as practival assessments on communication, accuracy and parts knowledge. On completion of the assessment all participants acknowledged that their knowledge and experience were challenged to a high level. Paul Hawkins, Automotive Training Manager at CES, says "The ATA programme is a voluntary assessment scheme that ensures our customers are receiving the best qualified advice available. The scheme forms part of our training strategy, which has been developed to capitalise on the skills and knowledge base of our workforce". Encouragement for personal development is a keystone within our company. As we approach our 25th anniversary, this scheme represents a value that is very close to the heart of CES culture: to be the very best we can. Therefore, we hope to achieve ATA Accreditation for almost 100 of our Parts Advisors in 2009. CES head office is in Chester from where we distribute our legendary emissions programme. However, we also have 15 sites throughout the North West, Wales and the Midlands, which offer a full range of car parts to our local customer base. |
