Putting customers in pole position
"We want our customers to prosper and be successful. The more vehicles they test, service and repair, the busier we’ll all be. So when it comes to supplying the right part, the company was built on a mission to ‘never say no’. Supplying the right parts quickly is just the tip of the iceberg. We help our customers in many more ways.." To succeed garages need a distributor that delivers regularly, stocks parts locally and has the technology to provide the part correctly. A typical CES branch is a business in its own right. It stocks a huge number of parts and consumables, meaning parts are available and ready locally. Its vans run throughout the day from 8am to 6pm. For customers close to our branches, receiving a part in 30 minutes is the rule not the exception.
Then there’s a team of parts advisors, using an industry leading parts catalogue system that’s constantly being updated and improved. Our Business Development Managers regularly meet customers face to face, to help forge long term business partnerships. We can help our customers succeed today and prepare for the future.
Through our Product & Purchasing Team, parts for the newest vehicles are always being sourced. They work closely with suppliers to introduce the latest parts into the aftermarket as early as possible.
CES has long recognised the need for training and education, not just for staff, but customers too. In the last few years thousands of customers have attended our technical events. We were the first major car parts distributor in the UK to open a dedicated training centre. Since 2007 mechanics across the UK have attended courses covering everything from Diagnostics to Hybrid Technology.
Having knowledge is nothing without the right equipment. Our Garage Equipment team works with customers to identify which equipment or software will provide new opportunities for growth. This includes the necessary training to get more from their new kit. Clearly supplying parts is just the start, not the end, for CES and our customers.
