New DPF Technical Fact Sheet |
Diesel Particulate Filters are becoming more commonplace on diesel vehicles, so CES has been working hard to develop its DPF offering. We have increased our range and now stock over 430 different DPFs, with more being added all the time. CES has also produced a new Technical Fact Sheet to help technicians understand a little more about the technology that DPFs use and more importantly, how best to fit them and identify what could be causing a DPF related fault.
This new Technical Fact Sheet explains how DPFs work and regenerate. It also covers essential fitting advice, including a handy flowchart that will help technicians follow the correct process when diagnosing a DPF related fault. This is particularly useful as we see many instances of DPFs being fitted when in fact the fault is being caused by another component.
